COVID-19 SAFETY RULES & REQUIREMENTS

We are excited to be back dancing with each other in-person, and want it to stay that way! Ballroom dance is a high-contact sport and therefore a high risk activity. Please help us keep you, your fellow dancers, and our teachers safe by carefully reviewing and adhering to our rules–thank you!!

In addition to the following, we also support and follow recommendations for Washington State provided by the Washington State Department of Health.

Masks are no longer Required

Masks are now optional for dancers and visitors. However, please responsibly wear one if you are under guidance from a healthcare provider to do so.

This policy may change to comply with local requirements.

Stay Home if Sick!

DO NOT attend if you have any symptoms of illness, have been exposed to COVID within the last 5 days, or you are within 10 days of a positive COVID test or symptom onset (longer if symptoms have not been improving for 72 hours).

If you have tested positive for COVID, we highly suggest taking an antigen test and ensuring a negative result before returning to classes & rehearsals.

GOOD HYGieNE!

Please use sanitizer or wash your hands when arriving to the studio, and before & after dancing with a partner. We will always have sanitizer available.

Remember that we are dancing in close proximity with each other, so good personal hygiene is appreciated (a recent shower, deodorant, brushed teeth, etc. are all good ideas for a happy partner!).

Vaccinate or Test before performances!

Some of our performance venues may require dancers to be either fully vaccinated OR provide a negative COVID test in order to be backstage or perform. Masks may also be required. These requirements may vary by venue or according to current local guidelines.

Water Only!

Bring your own water bottle, as you will not have access to drinking water at the Grange. Food is not allowed in the dance hall and must be eaten OUTSIDE.

LIMITED Observers!

We request that visitors be limited to parents only at this time. Siblings, friends, etc. may not stay and observe classes unless specifically invited.

Please be prompt with pickup of your students after rehearsal, and take care in the dark parking lot!
